Why You NEED To Use Grammarly

Let’s be honest, we all could use some help in the editing part of our blogs, am I right? Well here’s a tip, get Grammarly! Grammarly has been my best friend in this blog journey for the past year and I can tell y’all that it, honestly, has changed how well my blog posts are written. Now wait, don’t know what Grammarly is? Well, let me give you an insight into what you are missing by not using it.

Grammarly offers tons of different features and is known for these amazing features!

Grammarly can also help you a ton of different things as far as what you post!

  • Eliminate Errors – Errors that are sometimes not caught with typical editors.

  • Enhance Clarity and Meaning – For when you can’t figure out the perfect wording of a sentence, or maybe where a common should or shouldn’t be.

  • Become a Better Writer – Over a course of time you will start to remember these little things that you see and then you will eventually start to write better.

  • Check for Plagiarism – self-explanatory.

Now I know what y’all are thinking: Megan, how much does this dang thing cost? Well, that’s the amazing part! They offer a free account that offers a ton of different options, spell check, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and also the style of writing. All of these are FREE, so why not do it?

There is a premium upgrade that you can pay for to get everything above, the Plagiarism checker, and also upgraded checkers. This is only optional though, most bloggers who are just starting out, someone who is in college writing a paper, or even just an adult sending an important doesn’t need all the extra features.

But if you are someone who wants that feature, it’s there. Prices do vary by which plan you pick, so you can check that if you are interested.

Are you interested in getting Grammarly yet? Well, I left one thing out that I personally LOVE about this website!

They offer a free Chrome extension app, that will work on any social media: Facebook, Twiter, Youtube. It also works on basically any website where you are typing anything! I can tell you that I use this every single day that I am on my computer, which is every day!

Do I even need to tell y’all to go and sign up for Grammarly? Well, I’ll say it regardless, go sign up! Grammarly is the way to go and it is my best friend in my blogging journey!

Did I convince you to give it a try?

Let me know what you think!

Love, Megan Anne

  1. Thank you for sharing this. I am sure that I need to use this more often! I know I miss a lot when I am so busy and on the go. I have heard from others that this has been a life saver for them!

    1. It’s amazing & also makes the editing process seem easier. I will say that looking at what you’ve written on different screens will help you to catch those small errors that may have gone undetected.

  2. I love Grammerly! I’m using the free version for now, but its on the top of my list of programs that I am willing to pay the subscription for the premium version. I really like that it picks up on spelling mistakes on every website (email, comments like these, etc).

    1. Yes! I only use the free one, as well, but it defiantly is one I would consider paying for!

  3. I agree 100% with this post. I started using Grammarly about 4 months ago and I have not looked back, it is literally one of the best applications on my computer and helps my writing so much.

  4. I love grammarly! It’s always on as the chrome app and it’s marvelous! Granted there are times when I don’t want to be reminded how often I type like a talk, which is never quite proper – but oh well!!!

I’d love for you to share this on my weekly link up, I think a lot of people would love to see this. If you are interested it opens tomorrow morning… I really hope to see you there.

  5. I was actually going to do a post on Grammarly as well since I discovered it. I love it and I think we could all use it.

  6. This Grammarly app sounds like something I would use and appreciate all the time. Will be checking it out.

  7. I have never heard of Grammerly before, I think I will check it out! Thanks for sharing!

  8. I did not know all this stuff about Grammarly. I’m pretty good with grammar..I have two writing degrees, so I better be! But I still make errors because well, everyone does! And sometimes it takes me months to catch them because my brain just reads what I meant to write. So maybe I’ll check it out! One issue I have with robot editors is that I am personally convinced good human writers will always be better. Robots don’t get lyricism, or why you might WANT to start three sentences in the exact same way, for effect. Does it auto-correct, or allow you to ignore certain suggestions, should you choose to?

  9. Grammarly was a huge game changer for me! I usually write pretty fast so I end up with lots of typos and even tho I would proofread, I still missed a few. Now that I use Grammarly, my grammar is spot on! Grammarly is a a life saver for me!

  10. This looks helpful and I’ll need to try it because, try as I might, I typically miss a typo and discover it after I’ve hit “publish”!
