Have you ever done something and then thought, “wow, I really just did that”?? I know I have many times, especially since moving out of my moms and living on my own. So I thought it would be cool to share with y’all some of the things that I’ve realized that I’ve gotten better at doing.
Now, I won’t lie and say I’m so kind of 5 star cooker, but I’ve gotta tell you, I can make tacos, and spaghetti, and chicken Alfredo, and just a whole bunch of random things. Again, I’m not a 5 star cook, probably only like a 2 star cook, but I’m getting better!
- Killing bugs.
Growing up, we lived in a pretty old house, and so obviously there was the occasional spider, or weird fly thing, that would wonder into my bedroom. Usually at that point I would call (yell) for my mom or my brothers. Now living alone, I have no one to call. Obviously in apt, there’s going to be the occasional spider / roach / moth / unidentified bug (gah), so I’ve really had to learn how to just take a deep breath and ether attempt to get it outside (usually flying things, and I have a broom) or I kill them with a shoe (or windex).
- Saving money.
When I started working at 16, I didn’t really care to save money. I mean I could, but it was actually pretty hard. But I find it so much easier to put money away and not even think about using it now.
So these are just a few things that over the past few years I have really realized that I’ve gotten better at.
What are somethings y’all have gotten better at over the years? Comment below and let me know!
Love, Megan Anne
